## Key takeaways

- Yesterday has passed and cannot be changed.
- Tomorrow remains unknown.
- The saying encourages appreciation of today.

## What is the message?

The message is to value today: yesterday cannot be changed, and tomorrow is not yet known. Abdul Osama (عبدول أسامة) recites a short saying that puts the present in focus:

> Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. — Abdul Osama

## How should you read it?

The saying uses three simple images. “Yesterday is history” points to what has already happened; “tomorrow is a mystery” acknowledges uncertainty; and “today is a gift” calls attention to the time available now. The video does not give a method or a set of steps. It offers a brief reflection.

## What can you do next?

If you find yourself dwelling on the past or worrying about the future, you can use the saying as a reminder to return your attention to today. That is one way to apply the idea, not an instruction given in the video.
