The Arabic tech dictionary is a community project to explain technical terms and propose Arabic equivalents. Abdul Osama (عبدول أسامة) says its first set contains 101 terms provisionally translated with help from Claude, an AI assistant. The translations are starting points for review, not final answers.
“People need to understand these basics and what they mean.” — Abdul Osama
Why make an Arabic tech dictionary?
Abdul says AI tools have opened up building with technology to people beyond the technical community. Those newcomers may encounter terms such as API, MCP, and Agent without knowing the fundamentals. He wants a shared space where readers, developers, and technical experts can explain terms and work toward suitable Arabic wording.
“This is a community project.” — Abdul Osama

Background: what do the example terms mean?
These are general explanations, not the project's proposed Arabic translations. An API lets software exchange requests and data; MCP is a standard for connecting AI applications to tools and data sources; an Agent is a system that carries out tasks toward a goal; and Caching temporarily stores data for faster access. A Domain is a name used to reach a website, Hosting provides a place to run a site or application, and a Worker is a process or service that performs tasks. Vibe Coding broadly means building software while relying heavily on AI-directed instructions; AI Solutions are solutions that use AI; and AI Agents are AI systems that can carry out steps within a task.
To help, review a proposed term and explain why your preferred Arabic wording would be clearer or more accurate.
