The short answer
Bypass Permissions lets Claude Code, an AI coding assistant, act without asking for permission each time. Abdul Osama (عبدول أسامة) says that if the option is unavailable, you can look for Allow Bypass Permissions in Claude Code settings. He also cautions that the tool will act without checking with you first.
“There’s an option called Bypass Permissions.” — Abdul Osama
Where to find the setting
If Bypass Permissions is not available among the operating options, Abdul says to open Settings, go to the Claude Code settings, and look for Allow Bypass Permissions. Once allowed, Bypass Permissions can be selected. He contrasts it with options such as Ask Permission, Plan, and Auto Accept; his main point is that bypassing permissions removes the usual request for approval.
“It won’t ask you; it’ll act on its own.” — Abdul Osama
Background
Permission prompts in coding tools give users a chance to review actions before they happen. As a general precaution, check what the tool can do in your project before enabling a mode that skips those prompts. This is general guidance, not an additional step Abdul gives in the video.
What to do next
Check Claude Code settings if you cannot see the option, and only enable it if you are comfortable with the tool acting without prior confirmation.
